1-Day Tour Itinerary: Sendang Gila & Tiu Kelep Waterfalls, North Lombok
Morning (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Local Culture and Travel
* 8:00 AM: Pick up from your hotel/accommodation in Lombok, or from the ports of the three Gilis (Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, Gili Air). Travel to North Lombok, passing through beautiful rural scenery.
* 9:00 AM: Stop at the Tanjung Traditional Market in North Lombok. Here, you can observe local trading activities, sample local snacks, and interact with the locals. This experience provides an authentic glimpse into daily life in Lombok.
* 10:00 AM: Continue your journey to Senaru Traditional Village. Before climbing to the waterfall, you will stop at a traditional Sasak house, still inhabited by the local people. A local guide will explain the unique architecture of the house, traditions, and philosophy of life of the Sasak people.
* 11:00 AM: The journey continues to the entrance to Sendang Gila and Tiu Kelep Waterfalls.
Afternoon (12:00 PM – 3:00 PM): Waterfall Adventure
* 12:00 PM: Arrive at the entrance and begin trekking. The first waterfall you’ll visit is Sendang Gila Waterfall. The trail is relatively easy and only takes about 15-20 minutes to walk. You can take photos in front of the majestic waterfall, which is about 30 meters high.
* 1:00 PM: After enjoying Sendang Gila, the journey continues to Tiu Kelep Waterfall. The trail to Tiu Kelep is a bit more challenging, passing through small rivers and rocks, but the views are well worth it. The journey takes about 30-45 minutes.
* 1:45 PM: Arrive at Tiu Kelep Waterfall. The view of this waterfall is truly iconic, with water cascading down green cliffs to form a natural turquoise pool. You can swim or simply soak your feet in the pool. It’s said that the water in Tiu Kelep can make you stay young.
* 2:30 PM: Time to return to the entrance.
Afternoon (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM): Natural Scenery and Return Trip
* 3:30 PM: Lunch at a local restaurant near the entrance, serving typical Lombok dishes (e.g., chicken taliwang or satay).
* 4:30 PM: On your way back, stop at the Senaru Rice Terraces photo spot. The view of the terraced rice fields with Mount Rinjani in the background will be the perfect ending to your adventure.
* 5:00 PM: Begin the journey back to your hotel/lodging.
* 6:00 PM: Arrive at your hotel/lodging. The tour ends.

* Clothing: Wear comfortable, lightweight, and quick-drying clothing. Bring a change of clothes, sandals, or shoes suitable for trekking on slippery terrain.
* What to Bring: Don’t forget to bring sunscreen, a hat, drinking water, and a camera.
