The first snorkeling session at the best spot around Gili Meno, the first spot at the Underwater Nest Scalpture.
The underwater sculpture “Nest” in Gili Meno is the work of British sculptor and underwater photographer Jason deCaires Taylor.
The work was unveiled in 2017 and consists of a circle of 48 life-sized human figures hugging each other and several others lying on the seabed. “Nest” not only functions as a unique art installation, but is also designed to be an artificial habitat for coral reefs and other marine life.
The exact location of the “Nest” sculpture is off the west coast of Gili Meno, not far from the beach and can be reached by swimming or boat.
